Violence and verbal abuse towards retail workers are on a steady incline. The Association of Convenience Stores (ACS) recent crime report revealed some troubling statistics, estimating in excess of 50,000 incidents within the sector and that 83% of all retail workers have experienced verbal abuse whilst at work.
